How a code earns the label
Nothing can be tested. Every sequence on this site is a best guess based on series precedent, and labelled as such.
The build reaches consoles. Input strings and localisation files get pulled apart. Codes move to Datamined with the source named — right shape, never played.
First hands-on testing on retail hardware. Codes move to Confirmed one at a time, each with a timestamp and the platform it was tested on.
A title update breaks something. The code is marked Patched, retested, and either restored or kept flagged with the version it died on.

What counts as a confirmed cheat code?
One of us enters the sequence on a retail PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, in story mode, on the current patch, and the game responds with the documented effect. That is it. A datamine is not confirmation, a YouTube video from someone else is not confirmation, and a list on another site is definitely not confirmation.
Why publish a page with nothing confirmed yet?

Do you delete codes that turn out to be wrong?
No. They get marked Patched if they worked and then broke, or removed from the sequence column with a note if they never worked. Either way the page keeps a record, so you can tell what changed.
